More than 11,000 athletes from around the globe race in 61 events during world’s largest rowing Regatta

What:
The monumental 50th Annual Head Of The Charles Regatta, presented by BNY Mellon, will draw athletes and spectators to a three-mile stretch of Boston’s historic Charles River during the two-day event. Spectators will flock to the riverbanks for this milestone to watch male and female rowers compete in 61 competitive races, while taking in the sights and sounds of the scenic area that has captivated millions since the Regatta’s inception in 1964.

In its 50th year, the Head Of The Charles Regatta is the world’s largest two-day regatta, attracting more than 11,000 rowers and 400,000 spectators to the banks of the Charles River. Racing takes place on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Regatta attracts youth, collegiate, masters, international, World Champion and Olympic athletes competing in 61 events.
