Fans Enter for Chance to Kick 30-Yard Field Goal during Halftime of Eagles Game on 12/11,
Win $10,000 Cash Prize and Secure Another $10,000 for Local School of Their Choice

Philadelphia, PASantander Bank, N.A. today announced the return of the “Santander Field Goal Challenge” for the third consecutive year. The popular promotion provides Philadelphia Eagles fans with a chance to win the once-in-a-lifetime experience of kicking a field goal at a National Football League stadium.

Now through October 31, 2016, Eagles fans are invited to enter to win a chance to attempt a 30-yard field goal during halftime of the Eagles home game on December 11th. A successful conversion will result in a $10,000 prize for the winner. An additional $10,000 will be donated to the regional K-12 school of the winner’s choice, courtesy of Santander, the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles.

“The ‘Santander Field Goal Challenge’gives us the chance to give back to the local community, while promoting education and connecting with the Eagles passionate fan base,” said Angela Moultrie, Santander region president for the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Central regions. “We know how much Eagles fans like this contest and look forward to the game in December when one lucky Eagles fan will get the chance to win big for themselves and the school of their choice.”

Fans can enter the “Santander Field Goal Challenge” at www.philadelphiaeagles.com/santander, with one contestant selected per day throughout the duration of the contest. All winning contestants will participate in the “Santander Field Goal Challenge Tryouts” at the Eagles NovaCare Complex training facility the week of November 14th, where contestants will go head-to-head in a series of field goal attempts until one finalist remains. The finalist will take the field on December 11th to attempt a 30-yard field goal. Another six weekly winners will take home a signed 2016 Eagles jersey.

“As an Eagles fan, walking onto the field and converting a kick in front of 70,000 people was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and winning big for my school was amazing,” said last year’s winner, Thomas Voelker, who took his family to Disney World with his personal prize and used the $10,000 school donation to support STEM programming at Brandywine Heights Middle School. “As a school administrator, I know firsthand how significant a $10,000 donation can be for a school and I commend Santander for offering Eagles fans the chance to live out the ultimate fantasy and support a local school in the process.”
