Over the course of his 15-year communications career, John Gates has developed, managed and executed public relations and marketing programs at small and medium corporations and leading PR and advertising agencies. His communications expertise includes developing campaigns for a variety of markets including technology (communications software and hardware), consumer brands (lifestyle products) and sports (NBA).
He was previously Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications for SnowShore Networks, an IP communications infrastructure company, and before that he worked for Mullen Advertising and Public Relations on an array of consumer brand accounts including the Stanley Works, the Golf Course Superintendents Association and Salomon.
John began his communications career in professional sports, where he served as the Assistant Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. John is a graduate of the University of Vermont and an Executive Board Member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
